Meet the Bald Behind the Bend.
Grip strength is the most underrated muscle in the body — and the most satisfying to train. I'm here to share the journey, push the limits, and bring people into a sport that's exploding right now.
The Mission
Make grip strength approachable, competitive, and fun. Show what's possible with consistency and creative training.
The Training
Captains of Crush, sledgehammer levering, two-hands pinch, anvil lifts, blob lifts, you name it. If it crushes hands, it's in the program.
The Comps
Competing across North America with my eyes set on the 2026 GSI Championship at Mall of America. Grip is having a moment — let's ride it.
What is grip strength sport?
Grip strength sport is exactly what it sounds like — testing how hard your hands can crush, pinch, hold, and lift specialty implements. Events range from closing iron grippers to lifting inch-thick dumbbells off the floor with a single hand.
It rewards tendon resilience, precise technique, and a level of stubbornness most lifters never need to develop. It's also one of the fastest-growing strength sports in North America, with comps popping up in malls, gyms, and convention centers nationwide.
